The mission of International Compassion Ministry is evangelization and catechesis. "Go. Proclaim the Good News. Signs like these will accompany those who have professed their faith: they will use my name to expel demons. and the sick upon whom they lay their hands will recover" (Mk. 16: 15-18). "They expelled many demons, anointed the sick with oil, and worked many cures" (Mk. 6: 13).
Religious orders build up the Body of Christ. Servites focus on the passion of Jesus and the compassion of Mary, the suffering Servant and His Sorrowful Mother. His "Thine be done" and her "fiat". We can only preach Christ, and Him crucified. Their "yes" brought Resurrection for Him, Assumption for Her - and healing for all.
The life, Passion, Death and Resurrection give sacraments and sacramentals their life. The liturgy (with its handmaid, liturgical music: praying it twice!) makes those eternal moments come alive for us. So we prefer Mass followed by the laying on of hands recommended by our Lord.
"The Lord continued to work with them throughout and confirm the message through the signs which accompanied them" (Mk. 16: 20).
"If you don't believe my words believe my works" (Jn. 14:11).
Our chief focus is on inner healing. We usually lead the people in the Miracle Prayer, eyes focused on Jesus crucified.
We like to make Reconciliation available. We also encourage preparing for Mass with the Scriptural praying of the Servite Rosary of the Seven Sorrows.
